Hi all,

The ENVI 4.5 help says about built-in image segmentation:

"Segmentation partitions a classified image into regions of connected
pixels or blobs of pixels that are contained in the same class. Each
connected region is given a unique DN value."

If I apply it to a single class in a classified image, that's exactly
what it does. If I select all classes, it generates a single segment
consisting of the entire image. I expected that it would respect the
class labels when "blobbing". Am I wrong? Does the batch version
ENVI_SEGMENT_DOIT work in the same (stupid) way?

Mort
