Google Earth uses Geographic Lat/Lon. If you continue to have
difficulty porting your images to Google Earth, you could try using
the Google Earth Super Overlay Tool. It's a plugin to ENVI available
for download here:
http://www.ittvis.com/UserCommunity/CodeLibrary.aspx
Search for "GEST" and it should be the first thing that pops up.
