time_test on various platforms [message #6356]

I'm looking for a compilation of time_test results on various
platforms that is more current than the one included in the on-line
help files. Is there someone out there who maintains such a list? If
not, perhaps we can generate one fairly quickly by posting the summary
results for our favorite platform.

Also, has anyone taken the time to generate a larger version of
time_test that may be more appropriate for today's machines, e.g. by
including big 2D FFTs, etc.?
