Hi all,

I am a new user and I am trying to use iplot. Whenever I invoke iplot/
itools, the system crashes. I am unabe to figure out why this is
happening. I appreciate any help. The details are as follows:

IDL Version 6.4 (linux x86 m32). (c) 2007, ITT Visual Information
Solutions
Installation number: 97789-6.

Linux version 2.6.9-78.0.1.ELsmp (brewbuilder@ls20-
bc2-13.build.redhat.com) (gcc version 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat
3.4.6-10))

Try to get read of hardware rendering:

IDL> pref_set, 'IDL_GR_X_RENDERER', 1, /COMMIT
