I think it is the Workbench you are trying to update. There
haven't really been any changes to IDL since about 1954,
or least it seems that way. The numbering system is totally
screwy. The Workbench version and the IDL version, although
they both use 7.x.xx as a numbering scheme, don't (this is
the way it was explained to me) have anything to do with
each other. Go figure. :-(
