Hi, all.

I want to update my IDL from 7.0.0 to 7.0.3.
But when I used "Software Updates" in Help menu, it didn't find the
the available updates about 7.0.3.

Is there offline updater for 7.0.3 which can be downloaded?
I have another computer which has be updated to 7.0.3 before.
Is there any method to copy out the update files about 7.0.3 from it?
Therefore, I can use them to update IDL on this computer.

Du

Well, there is that. You have to hand it to them, they
*do* seem to have a consistent vision of the future.
I've just always wondered how many users they are
going to find waiting for them when they get there.

Cheers,

Take that big SolarSoft distribution out of your path. :-)

I'd be careful about unrealistic expectations. You would be
better off planning typical morning activities in conjunction
with starting IDL. Just be sure to take a long time washing
your hands. :-)

I think this is part of the service the ITTVIS webmaster
provides for free. The idea, as it was explained to me,
is to keep the customer from becoming complacent. It is
also used as a device to set expectations appropriately. :-)

Good news! I succeed in updating the workbench to 7.0.3.
Now I know how many percent of code have been analyzed when waiting.

It is strange that nothing happened when I want to update
the workbench several days ago. Does the update processing just
come back from the vocation ? ^_^

cheers. Enjoying the workbench 7.0.3 and the IDL world.
