Haje, you need to loosen up! Live adventurously. Life
is a mystery. Enjoy it. :-)

David,
That's what my wife tells me all the time. :-) So...I am trying... but life
is giving me a hard time with that...
So, I installed 7.0.6 in VMware and after the install you get the read me
with the following information: "If you have an earlier version of IDL 7.0,
ITT Visual Information Solutions recommends that you do not upgrade to IDL
7.0.6." Isn't that nice....
v7.0.6. seems to be like some reduced functionality mode. The warning reads:
"Support for Secure Socket Layer (SSL) communication and other strong data
encryption technologies has been removed from IDL 7.0.6. This change means
that the IDLnetURL, IDLnetOGCWCS, and IDLnetOGCWMS objects can not use SSL
encryption in IDL 7.06. Support for the MrSID file format has also been
removed. Existing IDL programs that rely on SSL encryption or MrSID
functionality will not work with IDL 7.0.6." Sounds like some licensing
and/or ITAR problem to me that had to be fixed.
So, I guess it wasn't worth the download.
Yours semi-relaxed,
Haje
