Cindy,

I had uploaded an object widget years ago to the IDL user contributed
code site, but it seems to have been lost or removed. I've uploaded it
again- try searching for 'calendar' in the IDL code page at ittvis.com
in a few days. The widget uses IDL object graphics to display a
calendar month or year, and it accepts mouse input to select days and
change the displayed month\year. The widget also provides a means to
highlight any number of days on the calendar with different colors.
Since the widget is based entirely on IDL routines it should work on
all platforms, but I've only used it in Windows.

Brad

(Its been a while since I've visited the ITT IDL code library. It
seems to be less user friendly with each revision..)
