Folks,

This is probably a stupid question, but I've had a few
beers and it has been bothering me today. What is the
definition of OP as it is used sometimes on this newsgroup?

"What the OP had in mind only God knows..."

I looked it up on my Internet Slang site, but I am
not convinced:
