Please join us in Washington DC for a new and exciting event for the
geospatial, visualization and analysis professional - VISualize 2009.
This event is designed to bring together IDL and ENVI users to provide
opportunities for networking, sharing ideas and learning new ways to
use IDL and ENVI.

Day 1 (April 15th) - IDL User Group
Day 1 of VISualize '09 will focus on applications developed using IDL.
Learn more about how the powerful visualization and analysis tools of
IDL can be used to help you get the answers you need from your data.

Day 2 (April 16th) - ENVI User Group
Day 2 of VISualize '09 will highlight applications using ENVI. You
will learn more about how ENVI helps you get the important information
you need from imagery.

Just a reminder to register for VISualize and a plug for a hands-on demo
with GPULib that Peter Messmer and I will be doing after the talks on
the first day of talks (5 pm on April 15 at the same location). If you
are interested, you need to sign-up:

Weï¿½ll get you started with what you need to know to begin using GPULib
to get big speedups in your code.

Please install GPULib beforehand. Donï¿½t worry if your laptop doesnï¿½t
have a CUDA enabled graphics card, GPULib has a pure IDL emulation mode
that can be used in class.
