We need to use PVWAVE encapsulated Postscript output frequently in other
applications, such as Wordperfect and Pagemaker. We have had little problem
using PVWAVE EPS output in Wordperfect, although with V4.01 images do not
import. Nothing seems to work going to Pagemaker. Further study reveals that
1) PVWAVE outputs EPSF-1.2 and other applications that do produce importable
EPS output say EPSF-2.0. Moreover, PVWAVE says %!PS-Adobe-2.0 while the others
all say %!PS-Adobe-3.0. I conclude that one problem *may* be that PVWAVE's
method of generating EPS output is out of date. Not speaking or thinking
in Postscript, I cannot say for sure. Anyone else out there with smarts in
this area, or experience with such problems?

I have used PV-WAVE EPS output extensively over the past
year or so, placing it into TeX documents. Have had no
trouble at all, once I figured out how to do it !
