I just learned yesterday that I am one of three people at my
institution (4500 employees) that is still using our old newsgroup
server. I was politely asked, presumably in view of the financial
crisis, to look for an alternative. So this one's coming to you
courtesy of Google Groups.

Anyway, I just installed ENVI 4.6.1 on my Windows PC, but there's no
online help. When I call it from the ENVI menu, I get the message

ONLINE_HELP: Starting the online help browser.

followed by nothing at all.

The \ITT\IDL708\PRODUCTS\ENVI46\HELP directory is almost empty apart
from a CSS file, some release notes, an XML catalog and an ECLIPSE
directory. Anyone else experiencing this?
