Hi,
I'm trying to use CALL_EXTERNAL to use some function that are
built into a 32 bit DLL in Windows 95. Although IDL seems to find the
DLL, it keeps telling me that the "Entry" is not found. I assume the
"Entry" is the name of the function you want to call. Does anyone
have any experience with this? Are there are syntax mistakes that I
could be making?

Example:
IDL> print, call_external("dasshl32.dll","DASTC_DevOpen",
"C:\asodastc.cfg", 1)
% CALL_EXTERNAL: Entry DASTC_DevOpen not found in DLL
dasshl32.dll.
% Execution halted at: $MAIN$

Thanks for any help!
