Hi,
for anyone working with several windows at a time in IDL, wshow is a
great help, that is, provided you keep track of all the window
indices. Things were fine till a few days ago when i started using IDL
7.0 where wshow doesn't seem to work well enough.
It is only after you have fiddled with the window using your mouse at
least once, that wshow would work as expected. In a program that calls
several windows in a for loop, this is not a practical thing to do.
Also, the command 'window, 0' does not bring the window numbered 0 on
top of all the windows. Here too we need to fiddle with the window at
least once.

thanking in anticipation,
Anand.
