PV-Wave X output directed into another X Application [message #669]

PV-Wave 4.01

I am trying to redirect PV-Wave graphical output to my X application written in XView/XLib.

I have set the XID of the application's canvas in PV-Wave using something like:

Window,0, Set_XWin_ID = XID_Number

But nothing happens. No matter how I fiddle with the code I cannot get it to work.
I have tried an external PV-Wave session to an X Application as well as linking PV-Wave into my source code. No luck!

Anyone out there know the magic commands?
