I have heard some of the hype about Wave, but have not looked
at it in detail. It is supposed to be a tool, isn't it,
not the content? If we can view Usenet through Wave, that's
fine, but the content still needs to be stored somewhere.

Source (NNTP v. Twitter) shouldn't matter since interface abstracts
it. NNTP, HTTP, Twitter, Email, SMS, RSS can all be viewed via any of
the other formats. That sentence was 149 characters.

Yep, my internet provider canceled Usenet last year, and a few years
before that my campus provider folded. You can thank the New York
attorney general for recently "cracking down" on Usenet providers.
I've been stuck with the Google Groups interface for a while. It's
not my favorite, but it works OK.
