Software Engineer
Join the IDL team. We are looking for an experienced software engineer
to design, implement and maintain features for IDL. You will work as
part of a small, agile team charged with developing new features and
maintaining existing features that directly support customer needs.
Responsibilities will include the ongoing enhancement and maintenance
of our cutting-edge commercial data analysis and visualization tools.
You must be self-motivated, show initiative and deliver results.
Minimal travel is required.
Required Minimum Skills and Qualifications
* Well-rounded software engineering background with experience in the
design and implementation of complex software solutions in a variety
of computing environments
* Excellent development skills with proven proficiency in C/C++ and
Java. IDL proficiency is desired but is not a requirement.
* Proven experience with modern software engineering processes and
methodologies
* 2+ years of software design and development experience
* Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to
produce results in a team environment
BA/BS or advance degree in Computer Science or other technical
discipline
