hello everybody,

it seems my brain has suffered severe memory loss.. About a year ago,
I was able to open a hdf-file with one simple command (it must have
been a built-in routine in IDL), and a GUI popped up displaying all
the SDS the file contained (I just need to know how that one stupid
SDS I'm trying to display later is called exactly)
Now, a year later, I have not a clue what that command was, and I
can't find it anywhere.
any help for the doting ones among us is appreciated :)
