Dear IDL Gurus,

I am trying to write an application which displays a modal dialog box
to get input from user. When the dialog box is called for the first
time, it is displayed properly. But on subsequent calls, dialog box is
blank showing only title and window. I am using IDL V7.0 on Ubuntu
8.10 (Linux 2.6.27-14-generic; GNOME 2.24.1). The same code runs fine
on Windows Vista and other Linux distribution (e.g. SuSE).

I have tested this problem with David Fanning's textbox.pro, available
on his web-site at following UR
http://www.dfanning.com/programs/boxplot.pro

However, same behaviour is repeated in other dialog boxes which are
using MODAL keyword.

Any insight in this problem will be highly appreciated.
