Hi,
I wanted to get the License manger of pv wave start running on a reboot on my
hp9000/345 using hpux 8.0 and wave 3.1.
What I did was to add a call to a script called start_pvi in the
function localrc in /etc/rc.
That script looks like :
#!/bin/csh
echo Trying to start PVI daemon.
source /usr/local/pvi/wave/bin/wvsetup
PVI_LICENSE_MGR
exit
------------------------------
ls -l says the following line:
-rwxr--r-- 1 root sys 107 Jun 9 1992 start_pvi
------------------------------
When a user starts wave it tells me that it cannot connect to the LM.
After executing the above comands as su everything is fine.
Could anyone point me to the mistake I am making here.

Thanks for any help
Rolf Diehl.
