Hello,

I've some experience with PV-WAVE, but most computers nowadays support
24bit colors. In PV-WAVE, one can display 24bit bitmap's (as 3 8bit RGB
bitmaps), but there seems to be no way to get e.g. 3-D-Surface-Plots shaded
with more than256 colors!?

Is there any documented 24-bit support in IDL?
