Sorry if this is a stupid question but have you asked a Philips
engineer if it is possible to export DICOM from the workstation? Or if
you have a PACS retrieve a DICOM version of the image from there?

I am sorry, Jay - here is what I have: an MRI's acquired on Philips:
*.rec long integers:128x128 + *.par file with the header info. I can
read the *.rec file, but I want to write the output in DICOM format.

I've been down this road with many data formats ... unless Philips (or
some sap like myself) has written a converter to parse the header
information and populate the relevant tags in a dicom file, it's up to
you to do it unfortunately.
