Hello,

Does anyone know if either IDL or PV-WAVE has built-in facilities or if
there exist user-developed routines for doing or supporting imaging? By
"imaging" I mean more than just displaying images, I also mean combining
data from multiple receivers and constructing images as in interferometry,
holography and tomography. Such routines might be used in the areas of
optical and radio astronomy, radar or medical imaging (ultrasound).

Are there other software packages I should consider? I am aware of the
AIPS, IRAF and MIDAS packages.
