Hello,
Having succeeded in reading data from the serial port (ttya) of a
sunsparc station direct from IDL, I have come across another problem. If
no data exists on the serial port at the time of reading IDL effectivly
hangs, waiting indefinetly for data, does anybody know of any way to
check for data on the port before reading commences.
If anybody is aware of routines already available realated to this
subject please let me know.
Thankyou,
Nigel Helliwell.
