Hi

sometimes we get a very strange error by accessing data files.

IDL> .continue
idl: posixio.c:248: px_pgin: Assertion `*posp == ((off_t)(-1)) || *posp
== lseek(nciop->fd, 0, 1)' failed.

Any ideas what that means or how to workaround it?

Not much we know currently about this bug.

We can only get it together with X. But that makes it a serious problem.

besides I don't use windows it may be related to netCDF itselfs
so we will request an update and wait again mayn years. ;)
