Hi

does one know a way to call a journal file by idl or idlde for windows
from the shell?

In the past you were able to do a spawn, 'idlde.exe @my_script.pro' from
a running idlde.

Otherwise I file a bug report.

cheers

Perhaps I'm missing something but this isn't my experience of idl.exe
for windows? It supports the -e command switch.

For example create C:\test.pro with
errm = dialog_message('test')

Now run
idl.exe -e "@C:\test.pro"
