In our institute we have Pv~Wave running on SUNs. Since we've got
also some PC's it would be nice to have a PC-version of Wave.

My Questions :

a ) If there is an IDL for Windows, what is the address of
its distributor in Germany ?

b ) Can it be that the guy who saw Pv~Wave running under WinNT
actually saw IDL, or is there really a version of Pv~Wave
for Windows NT ?

Nope, it was PV-Wave you saw. Wave for NT is currently
in a beta version. We plan to release it shortly after
NT is actually released. Unfortunately, our crystal ball
about when the NT release will actually happen isn't much
better than anybody else's.

I'm not aware that Windows/NT has been released yet. However, IDL for
^^^
(Microsoft) Windows is a real product available right now from Research Systems
Incorporated. Precision Visions may have or is planning to port their own IDL
"clone" product PV-Wave to PCs, but I don't anything about that.
