Oftentimes, when I use DFPMIN to minimize a quantity in an optimization
routine I'm working on, I get an error message from DFPMIN that says
"Roundoff problem in lnsrch". I assume that means a roundoff error in a
linesearch. What does this mean and how can I avoid it? Thanks for any
input.
