Both IDL 6.4 and 7.1 are installed and licensed on a WinXP64
workstation, through the same node-locked license file. Each time that
7.1 is launched, I get a flexlm error message related to "unsupported
IDL_dicomex_rw" feature . This message does not come when launching
6.4. Why ?
This behavior is annoying but not fatal, since I do not intend to use
this package anyway, and that everything goes ok afterwards in my IDL
session.
However, because flexlm does not accept TSE remote connection, I also
defined a list of licensing servers by using LM_LICENSE_FILE variable
(e.g. "license.dat;remote_license_server;etc..."). Unfortunately, when
I am using 7.1, the local license file then get systematically
bypassed, even in case of local connection, likely because of the
previous "error". Is it a way to avoid that ?
