Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to call a fortran function
returning an allocated array as is now permitted under fortran 2003?

Specifically, I want to write a library of utilities that can be used
by both IDL and fortran to include things such as linspace(a,b,n) to
create an array from a to b with n elements. This is easy in both
languages of course but I would like to just write the guts of such
routines in fortran and call them from a number of languages including
IDL.

Regards,
Cliff
