hi,
is there a possibility to prevent the popup of VM before a .sav
starts?
maybe to set the path/server of the licence in the program code and
compile, save it as .sav and run it without popup?
appreciate any help,
sh

Has any one seen this type of dialog/splash screen when starting an
application made with MAKE_RT on Windows?

On Windows, I get this dialog before the VM popup; I don't get this
dialog on Mac OS X.

This is the difference between running the program with an
IDL run-time license (available on Windows machines generally),
and running the same program on an IDL Virtual Machine. When
running on a Virtual Machine, you will *always* get the slash
screen, unless you pay ITTVIS the big bucks to turn it off.
Cheers,

I am not sure, but I think that if IDL finds a license, it does not
show the VM splash.
