I have exactly the same problem with IDL 7.1 on Ubuntu 10.01 64-bit
system.

To my knowledge SELinux is not installed to this system.

ls -l /usr/local/itt
gives:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5 2010-05-18 13:35 idl ->
idl71
drwxr-xr-x 10 root users 4096 2009-08-20 19:07 idl71

The
export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=true
does not help (under bash).

So, I'm really stumped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
