Hello all,

Upon starting up IDL today, I received the following error message:

LICENSE MANAGER: The desired vendor daemon is down.
Check the lmgrd log file, or try lmreread.
Feature: idl
Vendor:Host: lm1.license.[my school].EDU
License path: /usr/local/itt/idl70/../license/license.dat:/usr/
local/itt/l
icense/*.lic:

What's the fix for this? Is it even happening at my end, or is my
school's license server down? I downloaded a new license.dat, but that
didn't help.
