My understanding is that the IMSL library is an add-on (additional
cost) to IDL http://www.ittvis.com/ProductServices/IDL/AdvancedMath.aspx
). Perhaps you running a version of IDL without the IMSL license?

Sorry, that would be helpful.
What I was wondering was if anyone else has ever run into this. I
don't understand why the module is unavailable in the platform. I know
that others have ran the code before and not had any trouble. Mostly
I was hoping someone else had run into a similar error message and
knew why it was happening and how to fix it.
Thanks,
