It is not strange, there are some TIFF images which can be read by
other commercial software like photoshop, xv, imgview (SGI), but not
IDL Version 4.0 (IRIX mipseb).
It is really strange, RSI does nothing about the improvement even they
know this problem (They got the images in April 1996).
