Hello IDL Wizards,

I've never had to do this before. What is your preferred method for
setting options (in a shell script) for use by a compiled IDL routine?
The only way I can think of is writing out a namelist and then
including code to read it back in, but I'll bet that's a gotcha-prone
process. Very grateful for any experiences folks have to share.
