QMS output for Ultrix running IDL [message #719]

Folks-
We are running IDL on a DECstation 5000 model 200, running Ultrix 4.2a.
Several of our users would like to send their idl output to a QMS printer.
They claim that they have been doing so for some time on our VMS cluster.
I asked our local IDL expert about it and he informed me that the code
to do such a thing is included in the VMS IDL as user contributed software.
He didn't believe such a thing existed in the SUNOS distribution, and had
no idea as to whether or not such a capability existed in the ULTRIX
distribution. He suggested I post the query to this newsgroup.
