Is there anyway to retrieve events from plot in IDL 8.0 [message #72410]

IDL 8.0 new Graphics:
I need to retrieve cursor location from a plot and the data values at
that (X,Y), is that possible?
Also is it possible to add buttons to the standard ones (Print,
save, ..) and associate it with a procedure.
