I'm probably coming late to the game here regarding unit testing in IDL (I use them in ruby all the time), but the
mgunit application put together by Michael Galloy (http://mgunit.idldev.com) absolutely rocks!

I've actually gotten a ton of work done this afternoon with some object code refactoring because I didn't have to worry
about writing my own laborious tests for the changes I'm making - I simply used mgunit. More productive and stress-free
about making changes.

Man, I love it when a plan comes together.... :o)

Thanks Michael!

cheers,

paulv

OK, all the idldev.com Trac sites are now back up. Let me know if you
have issues with anything on them. The only thing I know is broken is
SMTP verification, so the Trac site can't sent emails when things happen
(idldoc.idldev.com was the only one that was configured to do that in
the first place).

Sorry, my ISP upgraded my server to 64-bit over the weekend and I
haven't been able to fix the issues caused by this yet. But I copied the
current release to another michaelgalloy.com temporarily.

Here is the .sav file distribution:

I tried to access to the link and the server crashes with the
following error:

<type 'exceptions.ImportError'>
A problem occurred in a Python script. Here is the sequence of
function calls leading up to the error, in the order they occurred.

I would like to try this application if it's so amazing. Maybe
tomorrow....
Thanks,
