Yes, sure. The French bookstores do it all the time. :-(
PDF files are extremely easy to rip off. The only hope
you have is that you have enough of a relationship with
your customers that they take pity on you and respect
the work you do enough to pay you something for it.
I have no particular complaints, but I do worry a LOT
about it, especially when that becomes a major source
of income.
Just order the book from the store. Anyone can download
from the link that is sent to you automatically.
