Hi,
I can't seem to find any information on the function nr_machar
in the documentation. It is used in the routine curvefit.pro.
I'd be grateful for any information on it.

I think this routine is now obsolete and replaced with a routine of
identical (or extended) functionality called MACHAR. See IDL reference.
Basically tells you about machine specific floating point arithmetic limits.
