I've been using the DE since v7, but I just haven't found a solution
to these bits. Any ideas?
* The v8 Console (v7 command line box was the same, IIRC) only accepts
a subset of the editing keys that work in Editor views. I use the
Emacs set, but the standard line moving shortcuts like C-A, C-E, etc.
don't work. The Mac specific ones like Cmd-left/right arrow do. I've
hunted through the Keys and Console preferences for a solution, but
haven't found anything that works. I've tried making a binding with
When: "IDL Command Line" or "In Console View", but they don't enable
the key.
* Is there a place to add the full command line that runs when you hit
the "Run" button? By default it's just using the routine name for the
routine you're currently editing, which isn't very useful most of the
time...
Thanks for any tips...
