using wave filename command in WAVE v4.00 [message #727]

I've been trying to use the command to the system command line

wave filename

where filename is the name of a file that contains WAVE commands

I'm running WAVE v4.00 on a DECstation 5000/200 under ULTRIX V4.2a Rev. 47

WAVE gets started, but then nothing happens. Is this a bug, or have I not
got something set up? The commands in the file are ok, since I tried the
same file on a VAX running VMS and WAVE V3.03 and it worked ok.
