PLEASE don't talk about IDL "executables". Believe me,
there is no such thing without a very expensive, special
license the ITTVIS gives you.
I think you must be talking about IDL run-time files,
or save files, or what have you, that will *act* like
IDL executables, if the proper version of the
IDL Virtual Machines is installed or packaged with
them. But this is DIFFERENT from an IDL executable.
(Unless, of course, *I* don't know the meaning of the
word "executable". But, whatever, it is going to get
us into a LOT of trouble if we keep using it!)
