Hallo,
I have to read Viking images/Data from Mars. They are shiped on CD ROM
in NASA's PDS (*NOT* PDF from Adobe) format. There are at least three
different headers describing the image data. Has anybody IDL tools to
read the images quickly, instead of analyzing the file header each time.
