IDL8.0 Workspace compile errors [message #74123]

Hi all,

I am using the 8.0 workspace on Mac OS X. When I build a project, I
get little red X's on the names of files where I've goofed, and red
bars in the editor window margin. Nice, because I sometimes goof.
When I fix my mistakes, and build again, all the red X's persist, as
well as the red bars. Forever.

.RESET_SESSION does not clear these markers, BTW.

Gotta be something I'm doing wrong, because I see nothing about this
issue on this group or the whole big 'net.

Can anyone help? Or should I retreat immediately back to the sanity
of 7.1?
