I'm an inexperienced IDL v.4.0 user and am trying to use IDL to read and
display CZCS data that I've obtained (ftp'd from Goddard Space Flight
Centre DAAC) which are in HDF files. I've figured out how to get IDL to
read the files, but it occurred to me that maybe someone out there (who
knows more about IDL, HDF and CZCS than me) has already written a nice
routine to do this, and to allow me to display mosaics of several files,
with map coordinates indicated too? If so, would you be willing to share
your code with me? Or do you know of an archive of publically available
routines to do this? Or any other suggestions to save me re-inventing the
wheel and making it square.
