Am I going senile, or was there no advertisement that strsplit now
returns a list when it searches in an array of strings (each list
element has the pieces resulting from splitting each element of the
string array)?

I surely remember asking for this feature, but only recently I found
it, when looking for something else in strsplit's help. And I just
checked that it does not show up in the help's "What's new".
