INTERPOLATE with missing values flag? [message #7549] Wed, 20 November 1996 00:00

Hi.

The INTERPOLATE procedure in IDL 4 with the /GRID option
comes very close to meeting my needs, but the one thing
it lacks is the ability to recognize missing value flags
in its input array P and do "something reasonable".

I found a 1-d interpolater in the JHUAPL library which
recognizes a missing value flag, but nothing for 2-d.

Anyone out there have a routine like this, or an easy wrapper
which gives the standard routine this capability?

Many thanks in advance,

-JLT-
