IDL 8 GUI won't save all overplots on one image...help!! [message #75710]

I have been using IDL version 8.0.1 and now just started using 8.1. I
have been having a problem saving, using the new plot graphics.
I have a series of plots overlaid on top of a 3d-plot. I use the
plot3d, plot, text, and the polyline function using /overplot in the
appropriate function. The polyline commands are in for loops.

When I use the GUI, I save the opened plot window as an eps (or even
as a jpg), but only certain overplotted plots show up on the eps
file. The GUI window shows all plots. They are all labeled
p=plot(...etc...).

How do I get all the overplots to show up on one image?

Has anyone heard of this happening or am I doing something wrong?
